He underwent training in joint replacement from Fortis Hospital Bangalore. He finished his training from the prestigious John Hopkin’s Hospital, Maryland, USA and received the fellowship AOF. He is doing all kinds of primary and revision arthroplasties of Hip, Knee and Elbow now.

• ARTHROSCOPY (Keyhole Surgery)

He received his Fellowship in Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine (FASM) and trained under the renowned arthroscopic surgeon Dr. Prathmesh Jain, Ahmedabad. Dr. Georgy J. Kuruvila is the Gold Medal winner of prestigious P. K. Surendran paper presentation of Kerala Orthopaedic Association. His areas of interest include Shoulder and Knee Keyhole Surgeries.

He was trained in Interventional Spinal Pain Management from Daradia pain Hospital Calcutta. He is doing all kinds of lumbar spine surgeries now.

He has been doing all kinds of fracture surgeries now. His areas of interest include infected nonunions and failed primary fracture surgeries.

WORK EXPERIENCE

• Dr Georgy J. Kuruvila, after finishing his post-graduation he joined as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Holy Ghost Mission Hospital, Muttuchira in 2011.
